AC Technician

Job Description

To perform and carry out the hotel preventive maintenance plan for all HVAC equipment, including cleaning and lubricating all HVAC equipment.

To respond immediately to guest complaints.

To maintain charging equipment, refrigeration test equipment, and HVAC tools in good condition.

Identify, locate, and operate all shut‑off valves for equipment and all utility shut‑offs for buildings in case of emergency.

Follow all job instructions given by Shift Engineer or other Senior Staff.

Report any serious maintenance problem or safety related issue to Shift Engineer immediately.

Follow duty schedule / split duty and carry out any other assignment given by Chief engineer as business demand.

Understand control principles of all HVAC systems and regularly test, repair, and calibrate.

Verify building area temperatures and adjust as necessary and record on the Duty log sheet.

Communicate each day’s activities and problems that occur to the other shifts using approved communication programs and standards.

Complete major and minor services on A / C, refrigeration equipment as assigned and return the completed job sheets to the Engineering Office.

Ttly investigate each job as assigned to ensure that only the necessary spare parts are used and to avoid unnecessary wastage of AC supplies.
