Overview

Job Title : Technical Solutions Specialist

Reporting To : Operations Manager

Company : GTech Security Services W.L.L.

Position Purpose : Installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of ELV system (CCTV, Access control, Alarm system, PA-BGM, and more)

Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities :

Technical Abilities

Knowledgeable in installation, termination, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting all ELV Systems including but not limited CCTV, Access Control Systems, Intercom, Network Clocks, Audio visual, Security Sensors, all related cabling, and other systems as assigned.
Effectively troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment or any component in the system.
Responsible for the maintenance and upgrading of all ELV systems hardware and software.
Able to read and understand as-built drawings, scope of work, and blueprints.

Customer Service

Respond timely to service / emergency calls.

Interact with the customers in a polite, courteous and knowledgeable manner.

Maintain good communication and professional relationship with customers.

Project Support

Assist the Senior Technical Solutions Specialist with project implementation in a timely manner.

Respond to the Senior Technical Solutions Specialist’s requirements and diligently carry out assigned project activities.

Maintain good communication and professional relationship within the team.

Documentation and Reporting

Report issues requiring vendor escalation or parts / materials.

Prepare service and PPM reports and get approved / signed by customers.

Familiar with standard and local code requirements like MOI-SSD guidelines.

Qualifications

Certificate attested by Qatar MOFA is a must

Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunications, or a related field)

Experience

Minimum 2-3 years in the same field with hand-on installation experience of security systems.

Driving License

Qatar driving license is added advantage.

Candidate shall be available in Qatar with a valid QID.
