Site Engineer : Job Description

Supervise and coordinate on-site installation and integration of ELV (cctv, Access control, structured cabling , BMS, data, telecom) and AV systems (audio, video conferencing, display solutions).

Review technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate implementation and adherence to client requirements.

Carry out site surveys, set out work, and prepare reports on progress, resources, and technical issues.

Liaise with project managers, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers for timely material delivery and resolving technical matters.

Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to site teams for troubleshooting and testing of ELV and AAV systems.

Ensure work quality meets standards, codes, and project specifications; conduct inspections and manage snag lists for corrective actions.

Monitor project timelines, resource allocation, and budgets to ensure efficient and timely completion.

Implement site safety procedures, risk assessments, and compliance with statutory regulations.

Prepare handover documentation, as-built drawings, and operation manuals for installed systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Communication, or related engineering field.
• Specialized experience with ELV and AV systems in construction projects.
• Proficiency in reading technical diagrams, project planning, site coordination, and quality control.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for stakeholder management.
• Attention to safety and detail for regulatory compliance on site.
• should have at least 4 – 6 years of experience as a site engineer.
