Job Purpose & Key Accountabilities
The Digital Project Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining digital products that meet internal customer needs and align with business objectives. The role includes collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions, ensuring seamless user experiences, and driving innovation in product development.
Additionally, the role entails project management responsibilities such as planning, scheduling, coordinating tasks, tracking risks, and communicating progress to stakeholders. The Digital Project Engineer ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Core Digital Responsibilities
Develop and maintain digital products that enhance engagement and user experience.
Define and continuously update integrated timelines with fusion teams.
Manage vendor relationships and foster a high-performing team culture.
Track and manage delivery costs per use case.
Support risk identification, mitigation, and escalation when needed.
Present project progress and delivery outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
Help refine the use case backlog during development.
Support prioritization of scope, backlog, and activities alongside the Product Owner (PO).
Assist in structuring use case requirements and user stories with acceptance criteria.
Lead workshops and support mapping of as-is and to-be business processes.
Collaborate with PO to influence stakeholder expectations and value delivery.
Coordinate value tracking for use case rollouts.
Facilitate agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
Maintain backlog tools and escalate issues when needed.
Assist in developing product vision and roadmap.
Contribute to the digital product portfolio by identifying synergies across solutions.
Participate in training and rollout material creation.
Coordination and Collaboration
Ensure alignment between business, IS, and technology partners.
Enable the development team’s efficiency and productivity.
Promote agile practices for early and frequent value delivery.
Help others understand team processes and interactions.
Facilitate effective meetings and encourage team contribution.
Act as a motivator-leader and proactively help resolve team obstacles.
Requirements
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree
Specialization in engineering, data science, computer science, or information systems management (preferred)
Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) and ITIL certifications
Project Management or Business Analysis certifications or equivalent experience (preferred)
Minimum Experience
At least 6 years of experience in digital product development with agile teams
Proven track record of successful digital product delivery
Experience with digital transformation in industrial settings, preferably Oil & Gas
Job-Specific Skills
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure)
Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices
Design Thinking or UX / UI skills (a plus)
