Overview African Contract Accountant in Doha, Qatar

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced African Accountant to join our team in Doha, Qatar on a contract basis. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is looking for a challenging and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain financial records, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports

Conduct monthly and yearly closing processes

Analyze financial statements to identify discrepancies and resolve any issues

Assist with budget planning and forecasting

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations

Provide financial advice to management on business decisions

Requirements

Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in the Middle East region

Experience working on contracts preferred

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software programs

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
