Job descriptionMinimum of 15 years of relevant experience in piping / welding inspection, with direct experience working to Qatargas Specifications . Mandatory Certification : CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certification or an accepted alternative. Preferred Certifications (Advantageous) : Coating Certification (e.g., BGAS, NACE). NDT Certification. Must possess or be able to obtain mandatory offshore safety certifications : Valid Offshore Medical Certificate. H2S and TBOSIET / BOSIET training
Job Description : Senior Piping / Welding Inspector (Offshore)
Job Title : Senior Piping / Welding Inspector (Offshore)
Project Duration : Minimum 1 year (extendable based on performance and project requirements).
Deployment : Within a month / 40 days.
Rotation : 30 days on / 14 days off.
Location : Offshore, Qatar.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct inspections of piping fabrication, installation, and welding activities to ensure compliance with project codes and standards.
- Monitor welding procedures, welder qualifications, and all aspects of piping system integrity.
- Verify that all piping and welding activities adhere strictly to Qatargas Specifications .
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections and review related documentation.
- Report on quality compliance and non-conformances.
