We are seeking a highly skilled Instrument & Control Technician to join our dynamic team for major maintenance campaigns on GE / Baker Hughes Frame 6, 7, and 9 gas turbines at one of the world's premier LNG facilities.
Responsibilities
- Be the specialist for the turbine's "nervous system," calibrating and troubleshooting critical instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, vibration) and the Mark V / VI / VIe Speedtronic control systems.
- Execute vital tasks during Major Inspection (MI), Hot Gas Path (HGP), and Combustion Inspection (CI) campaigns, ensuring 100% system integrity.
- Use advanced tools like Toolbox ST and HART communicators for configuration and diagnostics.
- Validate and maintain complex protection circuits and trip systems to ensure safe and reliable turbine operation.
- Work directly with state-of-the-art systems from Bently Nevada, Rosemount, and Yokogawa.
Ideal Candidate
Proven hands‑on experience with GE / Baker Hughes Frame 6, 7, and / or 9 gas turbines.Strong expertise in calibrating field instruments and troubleshooting control systems (Mark V / VI).Proficiency with Toolbox ST, FieldCare, or similar configuration tools.A solid understanding of loop checking, signal validation, and safety standards (IEC 61511).A commitment to the highest standards of safety, with experience in PTW, LOTO, and site‑specific safety protocols.We Offer
