Role Description

This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Fire and Life Safety (F.L.S) Architect based in Doha. The F.L.S Architect will be responsible for designing and reviewing fire safety systems, including fire suppression systems, fire prevention plans, and life safety protocols to ensure compliance with regulations. The role includes collaboration with project teams to integrate fire and life safety measures in designs, conducting risk assessments, and developing fire protection strategies. The candidate will also liaise with local authorities for compliance and participate in inspections to ensure project standards are met.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Fire Prevention, including risk assessment and the development of fire prevention strategies
• Proficiency in Life Safety principles and effective implementation in architectural designs
• In‑depth understanding of Fire Protection and Fire Safety standards to ensure compliance with local regulations
• Experience with Fire Suppression Systems, including designing and reviewing system installations
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
• Familiarity with local safety codes and regulatory requirements in Doha
• Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Relevant certifications in Fire and Life Safety will be considered an asset
• MMUP / UPDA Grade A, FLS Architect Certificate is must
