Safety Officer - Elevator

Job Description

Responsibilities :

• Implement and monitor compliance the EHS Management System and local safety regulations.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits to identify hazards, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions.
• Ensure all employees, subcontractors, and visitors follow site safety rules and use proper PPE.
• Participate in the preparation and review of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Risk Assessments (RA).
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety induction, and refresher training for employees and subcontractors.
• Report, investigate, and record incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain EHS documentation, inspection records, and incident reports.
• Assist in developing and implementing corrective and preventive action plans.
• Liaise with the client's EHS team and ensure compliance with project-specific safety requirements.
• Support emergency preparedness drills, evacuation procedures, and first-aid arrangements.
• Promote safety awareness and culture across all site teams.
• Ensure lifting operations, electrical works, and confined space activities meet safety standards.
