Overview As a Barista, you are responsible to provide professional service to our guests, ensuring their restaurant visit becomes a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing the coffees, teas and other drinks for guests.

Making sure that the beverages are prepared according to standards and ensuring quality when served.

Selling and serving baked goods and other food.

Using the cash register to put in orders for and do payments with guests.

Being knowledgeable about the menu and products being served in the outlet.

Checking products on expiry and throw products out when necessary, noting it on the spills list.

Maintaining the work place with the standards and hygiene regulation in mind.

Notifying management when there are potential safety hazards.

Clearing and cleaning surfaces and tables.

Help management to improve service; coming with ideas, give feedback from guests and colleagues and attend departmental meeting when necessary.

Routinely does other cleaning jobs like the floors, windows, storage and shelves.

Checking and preparing the work place before the shift starts and at the end of the shift cleaning the work space.

Making sure that the inventory is up to what is necessary to run the shift smoothly, notify supervisors if anything is missing.

Restock supplies and shelves when necessary.

Working together with the team in an efficient manner where communication is key.

Being friendly and courteous towards Associates and guests.

Working in other F&B outlets when required.

Being a representative for the service culture.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar customer-facing role.

In-depth knowledge of coffee brewing methods, techniques, and equipment.

Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.

Preferable female.
