Job Description

Study and understand the scope of works, drawings, and system requirements.

Ensure implementation of Quality and HSE requirements of the project.

Organize / rearrange resources as required within his area of work in consultation with Senior Engineer / Construction Manager.

Inform material and other resource requirements for the job to Sr. Engineer / CM.

Coordinate with QA / QC personnel for inspection and testing activities on a day-to-day basis.

Plan next day’s activities and initiate requests for inspections with sufficient lead time.

Explore new work fronts in his area to optimize resource utilization.

Prepare bar reinforcement schedules and inspect critical activities.

Conduct toolbox talks before the start of daily work and ensure strict implementation of Quality and HSE requirements.

Be vigilant of all activities taking place and provide guidance to subordinate staff as needed.

Liaise with PM / CM / QA / QC personnel to clarify technical doubts.

Liaise with Planning Engineer for daily activities.

Compile daily reports from subordinates and submit to Sr. Engineer / Project Engineer.

Enter timesheets for all equipment and manpower daily and submit monthly without delay.

Act as a trustee of the company, ensuring outstanding performance in all HSE matters.

Ensure implementation of Company IMS Standards to meet company objectives.

Perform any other assignments given by the Project Manager / In charge of Project / Construction Manager / Sr. Engineer.
