As a Senior Consultant in Interventional Radiology with a subspecialty focus on Musculoskeletal Radiology, you will provide advanced diagnostic imaging and perform minimally invasive image-guided procedures to support patient care across HMC. You will work closely with orthopedic surgeons, oncologists, rheumatologists, and other specialists, delivering expert input on both elective and emergency cases. Beyond clinical duties, you will supervise junior doctors and fellows, contribute to service development, and lead quality improvement projects. You will also play an active role in teaching, mentorship, and research, supporting HMC’s commitment to becoming an Academic Health System. Education / Qualifications Required :
Basic medical degree from recognized institution Post-qualification certification

USA : American Board of Radiology (ABR) Canada : Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) – Diagnostic Radiology with subspecialty in Interventional Radiology or MSK Radiology UK & Ireland : CCT in Clinical Radiology with fellowship training in Interventional Radiology or MSK Radiology, GMC Specialist Register Australia & New Zealand : Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) – Interventional Radiology Western Europe : Equivalent board certification

Current and in a Good Standing Medical License to practice in country of residence. Job Responsibilities / Duties : Adheres to Hamad Medical Corporation policies and guidelines. Perform image-guided interventional radiology procedures, with a focus on musculoskeletal conditions. Provide diagnostic interpretation of MSK imaging (X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound). Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, rheumatologists, oncologists, and other specialists in multidisciplinary settings. Contribute to pre- and post-procedure patient care, including clinical assessment and follow-up. Participate in emergency and elective interventional radiology services as per departmental requirements. Supervise and mentor junior radiologists, fellows, and residents. Engage in departmental service development, audits, and clinical governance. Participate in academic teaching and research as part of HMC’s Academic Health System. Contribute to guideline development, quality improvement initiatives, and adoption of innovative interventional techniques. Participate in on-call coverage as required.
