Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure awareness and compliance with HSE rules and regulations while promoting a strong safety culture across subordinates and contractors.
- Efficiently manage the administration of project controls within the Engineering & Construction (E&C) department.
- Lead the monitoring and controlling functions for the E&C portfolio.
- Manage contracts, systems, and processes within the E&C department, collaborating effectively with Engineering, Operations, Production Optimization, Contracts & Procurement, Finance, and other related teams.
Core Activities : Project Controls :
Lead the implementation of planning, review, control, startup execution, and closeout processes.Drive continuous improvement initiatives for project controls processes.Serve as the central point of contact between project controls and other departments, such as integrated activity planning, contracts & procurement, logistics, and finance.Manage business planning, prioritization, and the finalization of project budgets and rolling forecasts.Oversee project management through KPIs and dashboards, evaluating project status and highlighting issues early to stakeholders.Define deliverables aligned with E&C division KPIs, ensuring consistency with corporate standards and guidelines.Lead a team of project control analysts in maintaining, monitoring, and controlling the E&C project portfolio.Support routine activities, including project forecasting, variance explanations, daily updates, and project status reporting.Assess contractor performance and report key findings to management.Develop and maintain systems for collecting, compiling, and summarizing information related to HSEQ, engineering, cost, planning, QA / QC, risk management, and project governance.Manage and control project stock for E&C, coordinating with C&P and logistics as necessary.Ensure accurate and relevant data for ongoing activities, issues, and concerns are communicated across teams.Prepare and present division updates for different audiences (e.g., COO, senior management).Perform ad-hoc reporting and tasks as directed by Department Head or E&C Manager.Contract Administration :
Oversee the administration of executed contracts for E&C, ensuring compliance with contract terms and alignment with business objectives.Lead the compilation of bidding documentation, including creating bidders lists, inquiries, and recommendations for contract awards.Monitor contractor performance and report on the status of deliverables.Maintain detailed audit files for contracts, including work orders, correspondence, amendments, and invoices.Assist in resolving claims and disputes, drafting, reviewing, and sending correspondence to vendors.Ensure contractor compliance with contract requirements and conditions.Monitor contract spending, invoicing, and forecasts, identifying opportunities to reduce costs.Ensure timely contract actions, including reviewing approved contract values and expiry dates.Collaborate with different levels within the organization to solidify contract strategies.Align contract administration procedures and guidelines with E&C requirements.Systems & Process Administration :
Oversee the customization of project control systems (e.g., Sciforma, Spotfire, SAP, Primavera) to meet project needs.Serve as the liaison between E&C and other entities to align project controls requirements with corporate delivery plans.Lead efforts to improve the effectiveness and capability of planning tools (e.g., SAP, Sciforma, Primavera) for better data analysis and risk assessment.Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and recommend optimal business practices and system improvements.Review and approve change requests for project control systems.Lead continuous improvement initiatives, gathering requirements, and preparing business cases for system enhancements.Work closely with leadership to provide updates on business process and system improvements.Collaborate with stakeholders to determine requirements, estimate effort, and implement solutions for data analysis, reporting, and project integration.Develop and maintain reporting systems and presentation formats for various E&C audiences.Ensure the E&C community is trained and comfortable with system and process changes.Align integration points and interfaces to ensure smooth cross-functional process operations.Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualification : Engineering background.Experience : Minimum 10+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry with a focus on project controls and related fields.Technical Skills : Proficient in SAP and other project control tools.Key Attributes :Self-starter with a proactive, results-oriented approach and the ability to work independently.
Willingness to take on additional responsibilities, meet tight deadlines, and work extra hours during peak activity periods.Strong personnel management experience, with excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with people at all organizational levels in a multicultural environment.Solid expertise in data management, processing, and analysis of large datasets.Communication Skills : Fluent in written and spoken English, with strong business writing competencies.Time Management : Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and deadlines.Submission Deadline : Please submit CVs on or before 21st October 2025
