Company Description Rixos Qetaifan Island North Rixos Qetaifan Island North comprises a 345key hotel along with a souq encompassing 11 000sqm of leasing space a beach club a theme park and a waterpark The resort boasts panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination One of the countrys biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island Norths Waterpark attraction The Rig 1938 is the worlds highest tower of its kind reaching 82 metres This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of rides and attractions and all related equipment in the waterpark Able to maintain and repair all attractions and rides following the highest standards of safetyAble to identify maintenance risks on equipmentAble to diagnose any faults for all attractions and rides in the waterpark Perform preventative maintenance repairs and overhauls on rides and equipment ensuring complete compliance with the manufacturers specifications and waterpark standardsAble to perform emergency repairs promptly and efficientlyAble to provide technical direction and onthejob trainingMaintain daily logs and records of all maintenance work performed while on duty paper and electronicKeep a correct inventory and write purchase order requests for items neededParticipate in the oncall program and respond both by phone and in person as appropriateReport all potential hazards safety concerns and accidents immediately Ensure effective communication and good relations between the engineering department and other departments in the water parkComply with Health and Safety Regulations Qualifications Secondary High school educationQualification in Trades Technician level variety of engineering maintenanceBasic computer skills in MS Office and ability to use BMSGood proficiency in English language
