Head of Information Security (Network Security)

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for an established technology solutions and services provider in Doha, Qatar. Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Information Security (Network Security) who will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in developing and executing a comprehensive information security program, with a specialized focus on safeguarding critical infrastructure and sensitive data during high-profile mega sports events and routine operations. This role is accountable for the end‑to‑end strategy, architecture, and operational integrity of the organization’s network security, ensuring robust protection across on‑premises, hybrid, and cloud environments against evolving cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

Security Strategy & Governance

• Define and drive the enterprise network security strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, NCSA).
• Champion the development and implementation of key security initiatives, including network segmentation, zero‑trust architecture (ZTA), and secure access frameworks.
• Own and govern security controls across all network domains, including LAN / WAN, VPN, SD‑WAN, cloud connectivity, and remote access.
• Lead the preparation and evaluation of RFPs, technical proposals, and the IT security budget.
