The Presales Engineer is responsible for identifying and matching technology opportunities with a customer’s business issues and objectives, as well as channel partner training & enablement. Having wide-ranging field sales engineering experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Duties & Responsibilities Providing presales technical support of the sales process across the Products and Solutions. Cooperating with the sales teams in assessing potential application of the products to meet customer’s business needs. Conducting product demonstrations and technical presentations remotely, at customer locations or other suitable facilities on the products value proposition. Building complex, multi-product proof of concept solutions for customer evaluations as part of a sales engagement process. Leveraging product knowledge to provide technical expertise to internal sales teams, partners and end users. Developing customer requirements that map solutions, assisting with overcoming technical and competitive objections, and accelerating technical evaluation component of sales cycle to close deals. Leveraging the consultative sales process to prospective users to determine product capability assessment and validation as it applies to the technical sales process. Working on issues that impact design / selling success or addressing future concepts, products, or technologies. Creating formal networks with key decision makers in assigned accounts. Serving as an external spokesperson and evangelist for the brand’s vision and associated technologies. Advising and delivering appropriate partner training & enablement sessions for Partners. Maintaining skills and certifications relevant to the brand and the professional development. Staying current with the brand’s new & competitive technologies. Skills & Qualifications University degree in Computer Science or related Engineering subject. Minimum 2 years proven experience as Pre-Sales Engineer. Good communication skills in English (verbal & written). Excellent presentation and demonstration skills and in workshop driven sessions. Proven self-starter with the ability to multitask and to set priorities under pressure. Client-focused attitude and a team player.
