Overview

Technician - LDAR Field role at Bureau Veritas North America .

Educational Qualifications

  • Engineering Diploma / B.Sc. Chemistry / Chemical / Environmental Degree / Bachelor Degree

Other Requirements

  • English speaking and writing
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Internet Applications

    • Experience

  • Experience in performing VOC Leak detection utilizing TVA’s (Toxic Vapor Analyzers)
  • Conversant with LDAR Equipment and functioning
  • Preferred experience in oil & gas industry works similar to the scope of Services

    • Roles and Responsibilities

  • The person will be assigned to conduct on-shore and offshore fugitive LDAR work at oil and gas industries
  • Identification of Natural Gas & Methane leaks, locating the source of leak and tagging
  • On-field calibration of TVA-2020 equipment
  • Meeting operators for approval of work permit
  • Requesting Work permits based on the scope of work
  • Using marked P&ID
  • Understanding of P&IDs
  • Identification of areas for leak detection and scanning using TVA-2020
  • Reporting of leaks on a daily basis
  • Support the project team with entire site data gatherings also software management and updating site data into the GEF VOC application
