SENIOR INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER

Airswift is seeking for a Senior instrumentation Engineer towork with our client based in QATAR.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 6 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
- Strong technical expertise in :
DCS, PLCs, ESD / F&G Systems
Anti-Surge Control SystemsMetering SystemsTurbine / Compressor Control SystemsSIL (Safety Integrity Level) requirementsProficient in the use of engineering and business software tools, including :Microsoft Office

Lead and support Instrumentation and Fire & Gas (F&G) engineering activities during EPC and startup phases through to asset handover.Ensure engineering deliverables meet safety, operability, reliability, and maintainability requirements throughout the facility life cycleProvide expert input into project decisions, balancing both CAPEX and long-term OPEX impactsEnsure adherence to all applicable project specifications, procedures, and best practicesParticipate in technical design reviews (e.g., SIL assessments, HAZOPs) and ensure alignment with operational requirementsDeliver specialized engineering support for commissioning, startup, system failure analysis, and advanced troubleshootingDevelop and implement :Instrumentation and F&G surveillance and administration programs
Reliability and cyber-security measures for new projectsIntegrity management strategies for critical systemsProvide cross-disciplinary technical input and collaboration to support project and operations teamsSupervise and manage contractor, consultant, and service provider activities related to instrumentation and F&G systemsMentor and guide junior engineers in reliability, safety, and integrity best practicesSupport the integration and tie-in of new systems with existing facilitiesMaintain an Issue Register to manage and resolve critical technical issues, including emerging technology risksOversee high-risk commissioning activities for complex projects, including :Rigorous system monitoring
