Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve high‑quality coffee and tea beverages according to company standards.
  • Use espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the seating area.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and informative manner to enhance their experience.
  • Answer customer queries and address any concerns or special requests professionally.
  • Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks during busy periods to ensure efficiency.
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of new staff members as needed.
  • Restock supplies and inform management of any inventory needs or shortages.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
  • Process transactions quickly and accurately using the point of sale system.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts through product knowledge and upselling techniques.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving operational practices.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for customer interaction.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic math skills to effectively handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • A passion for coffee culture and eagerness to learn about new products.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a professional appearance at all times.
