The opportunity

We are seeking to appoint a Secondary School Deputy Head – Pastoral. Working with the secondary school leadership group, you will contribute to developing a dynamic and world-leading international school focused on High Performance Learning to achieve academic excellence alongside strong student wellbeing. As a leader of teams, you will foster a culture of commitment, enthusiasm and cooperation while embedding the school’s core values. You will lead the pastoral life of the school, contribute to ongoing strategic development as a member of the Secondary Leadership Group, and serve as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, promoting exemplary safeguarding practices throughout the school.

About you

Strong management, communication and interpersonal skills with relevant leadership experience and a commitment to delivering excellence in pastoral provision. You will maintain exceptionally high standards, create a welcoming environment conducive to learning, and promote the tenets of High Performance Learning. You will demonstrate leadership qualities of the highest order to ensure students are supported to achieve at the optimum level.
