Accountant

Overview

Our client is a leading company in the construction industry in Qatar, delivering large-scale projects with excellence and precision. They are looking for an experienced Accountant to join their finance team and manage critical accounting operations related to construction projects.

As an Accountant (Construction), you will be responsible for handling all aspects of financial accounting and reporting for construction projects. This role requires strong expertise in construction accounting principles, cost allocation, and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for construction projects.
• Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition as per construction contracts.
• Handle accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
• Process payroll and ensure accurate labor cost allocation across projects.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Maintain compliance with Qatar tax laws and regulations.
• Monitor project costs and provide variance analysis to management.
• Ensure accurate records in the company’s ERP system.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, and stakeholders as required.
