CO2 Specialist

The role of a CO2 Specialist includes :

• Study the best models to be used for CO₂ stream (EoS).
• Assess operating envelope conditions and support pipeline design (e.g., insulation requirements, burial, design condition definition, risk of corrosion, etc.).
• Evaluate the risk of water condensation to support upstream process equipment definition (dehydration, heat exchangers, compressors, etc.).
• Define best practices for transient operations management to minimize system impact (e.g., depressurization / venting, ramp-up, restart).
• Support the definition of CO₂ stream specifications based on diverse constraints.
• Study and define the most suitable EoS.
• From engineering studies, propose operating conditions to fit existing system capabilities.
• Define constraints linked with both controlled and uncontrolled transient conditions
