As General Accountant at MGallery, you will play a key role in maintaining the hotel’s financial integrity by ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and smooth daily operations within the Finance Department. Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules according to hotel timelines.Ensure accuracy in general ledger entries and maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions.Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.Support in monitoring accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.Assist in payroll verification and other accounting-related administrative duties as assigned.Maintain compliance with internal control procedures and accounting policies.Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.Prepare and process journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as needed.Participate in audits by providing relevant documentation and information.Uphold confidentiality and integrity in all financial dealings and data management.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the hospitality industryStrong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controlsProficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software; knowledge of Oasys / Sun System / Opera is an advantageStrong analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesExcellent communication skills and a collaborative attitudeAdditional Information
