Job Summary
The Senior Interventional Medical Imaging Consultant will lead our interventional medical imaging department, overseeing diagnostic imaging operations, radiology services, and quality assurance programs. Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), this position offers an opportunity to contribute to clinical excellence, education, and research in medical imaging.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide expert interpretation and analysis of medical imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine.
- Perform advanced imaging-guided procedures and interventions, such as image-guided biopsies and invasive treatments.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic imaging support for patient care.
- Lead and manage the interventional medical imaging department, ensuring efficient workflow, quality control, and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Supervise and mentor radiologists, technologists, and support personnel within the imaging department.
- Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance operational efficiency and patient care outcomes.
- Implement quality assurance programs and initiatives to maintain high standards of diagnostic accuracy, reliability, and patient safety in medical imaging.
- Participate in clinical case reviews, peer review activities, and multidisciplinary conferences.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and best practices in medical imaging.

Minimum 3 years of experience as Consultant Medical Imaging (Mandatory).Preferred : Minimum 1 year’s work experience in the Gulf Cooperation Council (Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain).Seniority level
