Job descriptionA minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Technical or vocational training in welding, materials science, or a related field. Formal education in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, or a similar discipline is often preferred. Proficiency in interpreting and folllwing PWHT procedures and specifications. Ability to operate and maintain PWHT equipment, including temperature controllers and other related instruments.
Job Description :
- Developing and implementing PWHT procedures based on industry standards and client requirements.
- Monitoring and controlling the PWHT process parameters, such as temperature, time, and heating / cooling rates.
- Performing non-destructive testing (NDT) to ensure the quality and integrity of the PWHT process.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the PWHT process.
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise during the PWHT process.
- Providing technical support and guidance to welders, fabricators, and other team members involved in the welding and fabrication process.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.
