Role Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Nursery Teacher to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS framework. The Nursery Teacher will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that fosters children’s growth, curiosity, and independence.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons and activities in line with the EYFS curriculum.

Support children’s development across the seven areas of learning : Communication & Language, Physical Development, Personal Social & Emotional Development, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, Expressive Arts & Design.

Use play‑based and inquiry‑led approaches to encourage exploration and creativity.

Differentiate activities to meet the needs of children with varying abilities, backgrounds, and learning styles.

Track and document children’s progress through observations, assessments, and learning journals.

Provide regular feedback to parents about children’s achievements and areas of development.

Ensure a safe, secure, and inclusive environment that promotes the physical and emotional well‑being of all children.

Adhere to safeguarding and child protection policies, reporting concerns promptly.

Support children in developing positive social skills, independence, and self‑confidence.

Classroom & Resource Management

Organize and maintain a stimulating classroom environment with age‑appropriate learning materials, displays, and resources.

Integrate ICT and other modern teaching resources into daily activities.

Encourage tidy‑up routines and care for shared resources.

Collaboration & Professionalism

Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and management to deliver a consistent and high‑quality learning experience.

Communicate effectively with parents through meetings, reports, and workshops.

Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Contribute to school events, celebrations, and community activities.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (mandatory).

A recognized teaching qualification in EYFS (e.g., CACHE Level 3, Montessori Diploma, PGCE in Early Years or equivalent).

Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in an EYFS setting, preferably in an international or Middle Eastern context.

Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early childhood pedagogy.

Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).

Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not required.

First Aid / CPR certification preferred.
