Job description

To assist the Head Dietician in the supervision and preparationof diet food and normal food tothe agreed standard in accordance with the company and the Ministry of Healthpolicy.

To advice diet cooks on diet menu as recommended by the Client.

To controlHygienic practices in the kitchen.

Ability tosupervise the tray line and to assure that all healthy food produced andserved is according to the set standard menus and recipes planned bycorporate dietetics and catering departments

Supervise theproduction and serving of enteral feed service and raise the requests ofdifferent enteral dietary products for the assigned dietetic supervisorfor approval and processing, and assure the proper storage inventory, androtation of product and feeds.

Ensure that allwork activities under supervision are carried out efficiently and safe.

Co-ordinate with theclient’s Dieticians regarding to the patient meals.

Visit wards andcollect the Diet Sheet for the next meal preparations.

Arrange tray-lineorder slips.

Allocate servicestaffs.

Supervise tea andsnacks service.

Responsible fordiet service trolleys hygienic and sanitizing schedule.

Responsible toprepare daily meals slip and production sheet.

Inspect andsupervise the ward after every service.

Preparation ofextra diet request for new admissions.

Responsible fordaily diet sheet counting for each meal.

Responsible for themeal count for monthly invoice.

Ensure correct foodtemperature and HACCP Procedures in place.
