Industrial Hygienist

Industrial Hygienist (Facilities Management) Located in Doha, Qatar, AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Industrial Hygienist to manage health and safety within our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify chemical, biological, and physical health hazards.

Develop and implement exposure control plans and hazard mitigation strategies.

Monitor environmental factors such as air quality, noise levels, and ventilation.

Perform risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.

Maintain records of inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.

Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and safety teams to improve facility health standards.

Provide training and awareness programs on occupational health and hygiene.

Investigate complaints and incidents related to workplace health hazards.

Stay updated on emerging industrial hygiene technologies and regulatory changes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or equivalent certification.

Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial hygiene, preferably within facilities management.

Strong knowledge of occupational health standards, hazard control methods, and regulatory compliance.

Experience with environmental monitoring equipment and data analysis.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.

Proficiency in MS Office and relevant reporting tools.
