About Our Client

Our client, a leading international investment manager, is looking for an Associate Director to join their real assets investment team. This role will be focused on fund investments across the entire real assets universe including infrastructure, natural resources and real estate. What the job involves

• Lead in screening of new investments considering all relevant macro and industry trends in accordance with the department's investment mandate
• Evaluates new investments which includes receiving and reviewing offers for participation in new investment opportunities
• Establishes and maintains relationships with GPs, advisors and industry contacts
• Evaluates the performance of existing investments and seeks to improve value through the consideration of strategic initiatives
• Benchmarks investment opportunities against relevant peers and comparable companies / precedent transactions
• Sound understanding of the infrastructure and natural resources asset classes, including the attributes affecting the risk / return profile of different investment opportunities and the main elements necessary to construct a well-diversified portfolio
