Safety Watch

Purpose : Provide dedicated watch for hot work, confined space, and other PTWcontrolled activities.

Reports to : Loss Control Supervisor / ORYX Permit Holder | Work Schedule : Schedule3 (12 h / day, 6 d / wk; day or night) | Location : Ras Laffan, Qatar

Key Responsibilities :

Continuously monitor work area for hazards; maintain headcount and communication with PTW authority.

Ensure correct use and readiness of breathing air / SCBA sets and firefighting equipment.

Stop job / escalate when unsafe acts / conditions are observed.

Complete logs as per PTW requirements and support onsite HSE activities.

Minimum Qualifications / Certifications :

Basic Safety training (e.g., IOSH / Managing Safely), Basic First Aid, Fire Extinguisher.

Breathing Air, Hot Work, Radio Communication, Confined Space, Gas Tester, PTW awareness.

Minimum Experience :

2+ years in an HSE role in petrochemical or Oil & Gas.

Job Specific Skills (must / strongly preferred) :

Awareness of Lifting & Rigging, Working at Height, Excavation safety.
