Responsibilities
- Manage electrical engineering services that meet Worley's, its customers' and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
- Manage electrical engineering project requirements.
- Manage electrical engineering services such as :
- participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and comply with required checking procedures;
- ensure the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes;
- provide advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. For example, oversee requisitions, technical bid evaluations and purchase order preparation.
- Act as the electrical engineering Lead on specific projects.
- If responsible for a team :
- outline project requirements including actively promoting workshare, where appropriate, assign tasks and supervise progress; and
- ensure the required services meet Worley, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, on time and within budget.
- Proactively resolve any discrepancies between Worley and its Customer's requirements.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in electrical engineering.
- If required, assist and support junior personnel within the electrical engineering team.
- Communicate effectively with the electrical engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer.
- Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.
Quality Assurance
Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of Quality Assurance systems.
Safety
Responsible for personal safety, safe working practices. Understand and follow OH&S procedures promoting health, safety and environmental awareness.
HSE Capability
Maintain HSE focus with the team to ensure OHSE requirements. Demonstrate business practices commensurate with a culture of world’s best health, safety and environmental performance.

Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited universityMME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period.Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantageIndustry Specific Experience
Must have vast experience in Electrical design and engineering of oil & gas / large industrial projects in Onshore projects.Experience in brown fields & asset services type project / contracts.Experience in MV cable sizing based on IEC60287 using CYMECAP will be an added advantageQatar project experience with knowledge of Kahramaa standards is preferred.132kV GIS substation design132kV, 33kV Cable sizing calculation16MW to 20MW compressor motorPower System StudyUnit and non-unit protection settingHV / LV Equipment Specification, Data SheetMR / TBEVendor Drawing ReviewSound Report Writing skillsPrepare Design Basis Memorandum for the projectFeasibility and Concept Optimization Study, Pre-FEED, FEED, Detail Engineering DesignMoving forward together
