Quality Controller

Job Description

Responsibilities :

Inspect and verify incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and quality procedures.

Conduct inspections for welding, fabrication, civil works, mechanical installations, electrical & instrumentation works (as per discipline).

Prepare, review, and maintain quality documentation such as NCRs, MIRs, IRs, test reports, and calibration records.

Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and clients for inspection activities.

Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented for non-conformities.

Monitor adherence to ISO standards, industry codes (ASME, API, ASTM, ACI, IEC, etc.), and client quality requirements .

Qualifications & Experience :

Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Electrical) or relevant discipline.

Certification in QA / QC (e.g., CSWIP, AWS-CWI, NACE, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, etc.) preferred.

3–8 years of experience as a Quality Controller / Inspector in construction, oil & gas, or manufacturing industries.

Strong knowledge of QA / QC systems, inspection techniques, and quality documentation.

Familiarity with international standards (ISO, ASME, API, ASTM, etc.).

Requirements

Qualifications : A Degree in Mechanical Engineering Professional Certification & fabrication Yard experience Experience : Minimum 3 years of continuous working experience in a similar position Have previous experience in the field of offshore fabrication projects (Jackets, Topside, Process modules, Living Quarter module).
