Principal Electrical Engineer (Onshore)

Manage electrical engineering services that meet Worley its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications on time and within budget. Manage electrical engineering project requirements. Manage electrical engineering services such as : Participate in relevant meetings prepare progress reports and comply with required checking procedures; Ensure the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes; Provide advice during procurement construction and commissioning activities. For example oversee requisitions technical bid evaluations and purchase order preparation. Act as the electrical engineering Lead on specific projects. If responsible for a team : outline project requirements including actively promoting workshare where appropriate assign tasks and supervise progress; and Ensure the required services meet Worley its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements on time and within budget. Proactively resolve any discrepancies between Worley and its Customers requirements. Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in electrical engineering. If required assist and support junior personnel within the electrical engineering team. Communicate effectively with the electrical engineering team and project stakeholders including the Customer. Identify issues and problems develop appropriate solutions and ask for assistance when required. Quality Assurance

Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of Quality Assurance systems. Safety

Responsible for personal safety safe safe working practices. Understand and follow OH & S procedures promoting health safety and environmental awareness. HSE Capability

Maintain HSE focus with the team to ensure OHSE requirements. Demonstrate business practices commensurate with a culture of worlds best health safety and environmental performance. Demonstrate a visible and active commitment to

personal well-being; healthy and safe workplaces and activities; Continuously improve Worley health safety and environmental performance. Identify and report work hazards and incidents. Education Qualifications Accreditation Training

Full-Time Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period. Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage Industry Specific Experience

Must have vast experience in Electrical design and engineering of oil & gas / large industrial projects in Onshore projects. Experience in brown fields & asset services type project / contracts. Experience in MV cable sizing based on IEC60287 using CYMECAP will be an added advantage Qatar project experience with knowledge of Kahramaa standards is preferred. 132kV GIS substation design 132kV 33kV Cable sizing calculation 16MW to 20MW compressor motor Power System Study Unit and non-unit protection setting HV / LV Equipment Specification Data Sheet MR / TBE Vendor Drawing Review Sound Report Writing skills Prepare Design Basis Memorandum for the project Feasibility and Concept Optimalization Study Pre-FEED FEED Detail Engineering Design Moving forward together
