DIRECTOR - Inspection Testing & Certification

Responsible to: Board of Directors

The Director is delegated with the authority by the Board of Directors to oversee the performance of the Inspection Services and shall:

• Oversee implementation of policies and practices as defined in the Quality System.
• As needed, participate in management review meetings and to review the system.
• Supervise finances related to Inspection Services.

Participate/Review appeals and approve decisions by committee.

Prerequisites

The Director

shall be a University Graduate in a science discipline and/or preferably a graduate or post-graduate in business management discipline with a minimum of 12 years of experience of which 5 years shall be in quality assurance or quality control related activities in a Third-party inspection and certification organization.

He shall have managerial abilities and shall have held a position of a Manager of a quality assurance and/or control function in a medium to large third-party organization.

Shall demonstrate exceptionally good communication and presentation skills and shall be required to demonstrate high level of professionalism and confidentiality in the activities of the Inspection Body.
