Overview

SR. TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (STOCK ANALYSIS) – Coordinate and support stock optimization activities to ensure healthy stock levels and eliminate obsolete stock. Review and coordinate with Project Engineers / Project team for processing of SPIRs, SPF and code change / obsolescence requests, validate data and expedite hand over of Materials to ensure timely stock availability.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support stock optimization activities to ensure healthy stock levels and eliminate obsolete stock.
  • Review and coordinate with Project Engineers / Project team for processing of SPIRs, SPF and obsolescence requests; validate data and expedite hand over of materials to ensure timely stock availability.
  • Communicate with Planning Engineers to ensure alignment on material requirements and inventory control.
  • Assist in materials planning, forecasting and data accuracy within ERP and related systems.
  • Maintain and apply knowledge of industry engineering materials, specifications, standards, drawings and spare parts interchangeability.
  • Apply comprehensive understanding of Oil and Gas and Petro-chemical industries to materials management and inventory control.
  • Support maintenance and engineering materials management processes within the supply chain.
  • Ensure proper documentation and processes for materials reception, storage and handover.

Qualifications

  • Excellent level of verbal and written English and technical communications with Planning Engineers.
  • Analytical skills in materials requirement forecasting and spare parts inventory control and systems.
  • Extensive knowledge in maintenance and engineering materials and ERP systems.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Oil and Gas operations or related environments.
  • Educational Qualifications : HND in Engineering discipline or equivalent in Materials Management or Economic studies.
