Plumber (Sanitary Sewer Tech) Position Type :

Full Time

Duration : 12 months

Location :

3 days of orientation in Panama City, FL, then deployment to Doha, Qatar

Responsibilities

Perform effective and efficient OM&R, including regular inspection, operational testing and balancing, troubleshooting, and repair of sewer systems, documenting in SMS. Systems include submersible pumps, diesel de‑watering pumps, valves, floats, rails, alarm boxes, macerators / grinders, pump houses, and PLCs.

Plan, conduct, and document training by preparing and using Lesson Plans and Performance Objectives. Provide trainees theory, background information, and hands‑on education to enhance performance.

Accomplish scheduled maintenance, including coil cleaning, regular adjustments, and operational inspections in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and applicable codes and regulations.

Interpret engineering drawings that combine electrical and electronic schematics, logic diagrams, and mechanical drawings to trace signal flow and troubleshoot malfunctions of complex systems using test equipment, safety rules, environmental policies, and management principles.

Interpret installation and repair instructions that describe general applications for components rather than specific interfaces.

Provide on‑site expertise during emergency or complex service calls and complete preventative maintenance work.

Follow and implement work prioritization requirements within provided timelines using automated management systems for all work orders.

Follow a comprehensive safety program in compliance with Vectrus, OSHA, and United States Air Force (USAF) requirements.

Maintain a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutter, and trash in all working facilities and areas.

Follow a comprehensive, flexible, and properly documented training program.

Properly utilize and safeguard all government and contractor provided property (e.g., government facilities, equipment, and tools).

Execute company time reporting procedures and accurately complete timesheets.

Perform other duties as assigned in accordance with contractual, functional, and mission requirements.

Ideal Candidate

Must have and maintain a valid U.S. SECRET Security Clearance prior to deployment.

Must have a minimum of three years’ experience specializing in sanitary sewer systems and be able to clearly communicate and instruct effectively.

Qualifications / Education / Certifications

Current valid U.S. Passport and driver’s license (able to drive manual transmission).

Obtain an Air Force flight line driver’s license upon deployment.

Pass a flight line access test and obtain flight line access badge upon deployment.

Pass employment and deployment qualification requirements that include psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, and background checks.

Successfully complete both online and hands‑on Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Defense training.

Fit test and use DOD-provided protective gear.

Pay Range and Benefits Salary Range :

$95,000 to $100,000
