Legal Counsel Bilingual

Legal advice 1 Provide support and legal advice to NAKILAT s management 2 Provide inputs and advise to the General Council on any other substantive and or procedural issues and gives opinion on any matter thereof as requested 3 Provide legal advice on a broad variety of issues and work effectively in a complex multinational multicultural environment 4 Supervise and represent NAKILAT as required in all disputes procedures before arbitration tribunals or local courts Contract Management 5 Draft and review contractual agreements and negotiate with parties as and when required 6 Develop standards agreements and reviews all agreements to ensure Company is protected legally Corporate issues 7 Handle and coordinate all corporate legal issues 8 Liaise with all related ministries and other governmental agencies to ensure that all NAKILAT transactions are complying with Qatari laws and regulations 9 Ensures corporate compliance in all aspects of the business with Qatari laws and other applicable laws as required 10 Update all corporate related files 11 Ensure corporate compliance in all aspects of the business with Qatari laws and other applicable laws as required Amend Article of Association 12 Amend the NAKILAT s Article of Association also includes review the new law and draft the amended AOA 13 Present and coordinate internally and externally for the approval 14 Ensure that NAKILAT and its subsidiaries and joint ventures Licenses permits and other essential documents are updated amended and are uptodate Emergency Response Team 15 As part of Emergency response team attend drill and live meetings Training 16 Provide training to developee Generic Accountabilities Quality Health Safety Environment QHSE 17 Adhere to all relevant QHSE policies procedures instructions and controls so that NAKILAT provides a safe world class secure and environmentally responsible service to customers the public and its own people Policies Systems Processes Procedures 18 Implement approved policies processes and procedures and provide instructions to subordinates to ensure their proper implementation Others 19 Carry out any other duties as directed by the Sr Legal Counsel Competencies Collaboration Team Work Advanced Contract Expertise Specialist Customer Centricity Advanced Drive Vision Advanced Empower Nurture Talent Advanced Insurance Administration Practitioner Insurance Knowledge Practitioner Interactive Communication Advanced Legal Advisory Specialist Legal Research Specialist Legal Risk Management Specialist Legal Writing Specialist Achievement Oriented Advanced Solution Oriented Advanced Qualifications Experience and Job Skills Qualifications Bachelor s degree in law or courses on law of contract company law labor law and law of tort Master s Degree or specialized certificates are preferred Experience 810 years of related experience of which a minimum of 36 years should be in a similar position responsibility preferably in a similar Industry Job Specific Skills Fluency in both Arabic and English language Wide knowledge about Qatari Laws Ability to make strong ties with all related parties internally and externally Excellent drafting and negotiating skill You will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position
