Responsibilities

Responsible for capacity planning and production activity control

Ensure production orders are completed on schedule

Release production orders for manufacturing

Review daily capacity requirements versus defined capacity and reconciles

Responsible for detailed planning and control of production orders as they progress to completion.

Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering on suggested task list to facilitate scheduling

Maintain work center definitions

Maintain database

Requirements

Degree / Diploma with at least 6 years experience working in a manufacturing environment with-in Planning or production control

Detailed production process knowledge and advanced knowledge of Capacity Planning, Production Activity Control, and systems and technology

Good Excel understanding and able to use extensively

sheet metal and steel Manufacturing would be an advantage
