The Head of Maintenance is responsible for the Management of Maintenance & Biomedical Departments in Hospitals.
Responsibilities
Manages / Execute the compliance of Biomedical, Building and Maintenance related Issues with Accreditation Standards.
Collaborates, Coordinates and manages the maintenance for all Hospital departments covered by the contract.
Manages / Execute Maintenance Work orders follow up until final closing and hospital approval.
Conducts specifications studies for acquisition of new equipment and systems when asked for.
Conducts & reports studies for equipment status and depreciation.
Manages / Execute Miscellaneous and Electromechanical Equipment Corrective Maintenance tasks in the hospital.
Manages Daily Inspection follow up in the hospital and insures that the best solution is provided for reported problems.
Performs the Daily Inspection annual training for all technicians in correspondence with the performance appraisal of involved staff and reports all issues to Management.
Manages / Execute the establishment of the preventive maintenance schedule and the Electromechanical Preventive Maintenance tasks in the Hospital.
Establishes and updates the Hospital asset Inventory related to Electromechanical and building equipment.
Reports Daily issues on daily reporting basis.
Reports Main and Recurrent issues on daily basis, weekly basis and on monthly basis.
Reports All main maintenance major issues to Management related but not limited to corrective and preventive maintenance, training, daily inspection, etc.
Manages all warranty and contracts issues and follow up.
Manages the delegation of the Preventive and corrective maintenance.
Decides of the priority of Repairs and insures of the best follow up of all critical and urgent repairs in the hospital.
Decides for the necessity of requesting materials and follows the purchasing process in collaboration with the hospital management and purchasing department
Manages / Establishes the performance data and charts (QIP, Data Collection, etc) for the general maintenance department with coordination of the internal Audit Manager.
Executes / follow up of all E-Solution requirements and issues.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in hospital maintenance, ideally at a Head of Department level.
Experience or knowledge in biomedical systems is a plus, but not required.
Must be based in Qatar or willing to relocate.
