Job descriptionlt;h2>This a Full Remote job, theoffer is available from : EMEA The position is for an IP andRegulatory exclusivity (Pharmaceutical Incentives) senior lawyer.The position includes providing advice, assistance and leadershipon regulatory issues which are integral part of the exclusivityposition of a product, in particular regarding regulatoryexclusivities, developing strategies that will create synergieswith IP exclusivities to optimize life cycle management (LCM), theoptimal creation of exclusivities for development / pipeline productsand the loss of exclusivity (LoE) position ofCSL’s products. This IP lawyer will coordinatecomplex regulatory exclusivity and other related activities , e.g.LoE strategies, taking into account the IP landscape and broaderpolitical and commercial environment. This position reports to thehead of IP and is a member of the enterprise global IP leadershipteam. The Role • Be up-to-date with Regulatory andPharmaceutical Incentives legislations in EU and new regulatorydevelopments globally to ensure proper implementation across theglobal IP organization • Support the global IPorganization with respect to the implementation of the new EUPharma legislation package and EU transparency rules• Design and support implementation of life cyclemanagement (LCM) strategies and loss of exclusivity (LoE)strategies with a focus on the regulatory exclusivity aspects incollaboration with IP team member(s) and business partners• Design and support periodic exclusivity reviewsto our pipeline / development products to maximize the length andstrength of regulatory and IP exclusivities •Advise on patent litigations strategies with an emphasize ofregulatory exclusivity linkage • Ensure the globalIP organization takes consistent approaches towards life cyclemanagement (LCM) strategies and loss of exclusivity (LoE)strategies. • Design and coordinate implementationof collaboration streams with Global Regulatory andR&D to secure / maximize value creation (Patent TermExtensions, Patent Linkage, Paediatric Extension, review ofcritical registration dossier sections) • Guidepatent drafting and prosecution on the basis of regulatory andpharmacovigilance innovation such as risk management plans, sideeffects and percations; • Build a LCM / LoEfunctional team that works together on challenging problems andprovides mutual support. • Conceive and executeRoW IP litigation strategies in collaboration with other teammembers • Directly manage certain RoW IP disputesor Pharmaceutical Incentives disputes • Negotiatesettlements and license agreements • Advise RoWbusiness partners regarding IP strategy and litigation risk• Build RoW IP litigation functional team thatworks together on challenging problems and provides mutual support• Support professional development of functionalRoW IP litigation team members, including through mentoring,coaching, continuing legal education, and sharing of best practices• Ensure RoW IP litigation team takes consistentapproaches towards handling cases • Managegovernance and reporting of RoW IP litigation •Manage RoW IP litigation budget • Monetize IPassets via licensing and, if necessary, patent enforcement• Collaborate effectively across functions withmultiplestakeholders< / h2>
