PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT
As a Sales Manager Portfolio Sales, the role will drive strategic growth and innovation in commercial and / or corporate cards, virtual payments, and fintech partnerships across the GCC region. The position holder will have extensive experience in business development, client acquisition, and market expansion within banks, hospitality, travel, and government areas. This role requires strong leadership, project management, and the ability to foster impactful business relationships with key clients and partners.
Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities :
- Lead the acquisition and development of portfolios and virtual payment solutions for corporate / commercial clients
- Manage and mentor sales and implementation teams, ensuring operational efficiency and process optimisation.
- Develop and execute strategies for market expansion and client acquisition across key regions
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with banks, fintech's, travel agencies, and corporate / commercial clients
- Deliver exceptional results through strong client relationships and tailored solutions
- Represent the company at major industry exhibitions and trade shows
Knowledge and Experience :
10 -12 years of experience in driving portfolios across corporate / commercial solutionsProven track record in business development in cards and new payment flows in the B2B payment spaceThe ability to drive fintech and ecosystem partnershipsExperience managing high-value portfolios and leading cross-functional teamsCompetent and adept with AI business strategy, team leadership, business development, client acquisition, market expansion, project management, and process optimisationProficiency in MS Office, ERP solutions, and high-tech systemsMandatory Skills :
Previous sales & business development experience within Banking, Payment & Card solutions, or the FinTech industryStrategic thinker with a growth mindset, including excellent relationship management and negotiation skillsThe ability to drive innovation and deliver measurable outcomes in competitive environments.Strong communication skills in Arabic and English are mandatoryPreferred Skills :
Regional experience across the GCC, including previous experience in leading local banks, payment companies, or travel technology companiesExperience in managing regional operations and strategic accountsExposure to global markets and collaboration with international teams
