Responsibilities

Reporting to the Dean, College of Health Sciences, the Associate Dean plays a pivotal role in supporting and advancing the strategic vision and academic leadership of the College. This leadership position is integral to the effective planning, organization, and management of the College’s diverse academic programs and initiatives.

Key responsibilities include providing leadership in managing faculty and administrative teams, promoting faculty professional development, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality academic programs that align with the College’s mission and goals. The Associate Dean is dedicated to enhancing student success by supporting initiatives that improve learning outcomes, retention, and graduation rates.

The role demands close collaboration with Departments Heads and other College leaders to ensure efficient resource allocation and to maintain compliance with institutional policies and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

Earned PhD (or equivalent as designated and approved) in a relevant discipline from a recognized, accredited institution and should demonstrate evidence of scholarly, professional, and creative achievement sufficient to qualify at the rank of Professor / Associate Professor.
