Surveyor

Job Description

Responsibilities :

Conduct topographic, boundary, and site surveys using total stations, GPS, and leveling instruments.

Establish benchmarks, gridlines, reference points, and control stations for construction activities.

Perform layout and setting-out of structures, foundations, roads, and utilities.

Ensure dimensional accuracy and alignment as per approved drawings.

Carry out as-built surveys and prepare as-built drawings for submission.

Maintain proper survey records, logs, and field books.

Qualifications & Experience :

Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or Surveying.

Minimum 3–7 years of experience as a Surveyor in construction, infrastructure, shipyard, or oil & gas projects.

Proficiency in using surveying equipment (Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, Theodolite).

Experience with CAD software and survey data processing (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).

Strong knowledge of surveying standards, tolerances, and codes.
