IT Senior Field Engineer is responsible for the support and management of all end user incoming requests and incidents, including hardware and software troubleshooting and request fulfilment. The incumbent is expected to have exceptional customer service and communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Provide advanced technical support for escalated field issues related to desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Perform complex diagnostics and root cause analysis to resolve persistent or high‑impact incidents.
Ensure consistent configuration and security compliance of end user systems.
Coordinate with IT infrastructure teams for major hardware rollouts and deployments.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and asset updates.
Qualifications
Advanced troubleshooting skills for end‑user hardware, software, and network services connectivity, including both Windows and Mac devices.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments, Active Directory, and endpoint management tools.
Ability to handle high‑priority escalations independently with precision and composure.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience in IT field support, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
Experience in complex technical environments supporting multiple end‑user devices and platforms.
