Summary The Consultant in Clinical Neurophysiology provides advanced diagnostic and management expertise for patients with neurological disorders using state-of-the-art neurophysiological techniques. This role involves performing and interpreting investigations such as EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, evoked potentials, and intraoperative monitoring. The consultant works closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered diagnostic services, supporting both inpatient and outpatient neurology care. Education / Qualifications Required :

Basic medical degree from recognized institution Post-qualification certification

Qualification Source from : North America, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand.

Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) UK & Ireland :

Experience Post-Qualifications :

Minimum

years of experience as a Consultant in Clinical Neurophysiology License :

Current and in a Good Standing Medical License to practice in country of residence. Job Responsibilities / Duties : Perform and interpret EEGs (including video telemetry, long-term monitoring) Conduct nerve conduction studies and electromyography (EMG) Perform evoked potentials and intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurophysiological disorders Lead and participate in multidisciplinary diagnostic teams with neurologists, neurosurgeons, and allied health professionals Mentor and educate medical trainees and allied health staff Engage in clinical research and support ongoing quality improvement initiatives Develop and implement new neurophysiology services aligned with clinical needs Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality standards
