We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Global Services Energy, Qatar for a : Quality Lead (Manufacturing).

Job Purpose

Responsible for all aspects of quality for Major Projects / NFPS projects as a member of the NFPS Shared Services Quality team. Ensure the quality of products and processes throughout the manufacturing lifecycle. This involves developing and implementing quality control procedures, monitoring production, investigating issues, and driving continuous improvement. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Job Accountabilities

• Creating and implementing quality control plans, procedures, and documentation to ensure products and processes meet established standards and specifications.
• Conducting inspections and tests during various stages of manufacturing to identify defects or deviations from quality standards.
• Investigating quality issues, performing root cause analysis using tools such as Fishbone Diagram, 5 Whys, etc., and developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.
• Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and other teams to address quality issues, communicate quality standards, and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensuring that manufacturing processes and products comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and enhance product quality through best practices and lean manufacturing principles.
• Leading or participating in Quality Management System Audits to ensure full compliance with Company requirements and applicable international codes and standards.
