The role involves reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, fabricating components, performing quality checks, and supporting template development for fabrication projects.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering blueprints.
• Fabricate metal components and structures according to specifications.
• Line up fabricating machines and prepare templates for fabrication jobs.
• Measure, mark out, cut, bend, drill, flame cut, and weld as required.
• Operate tools such as shears, rollers, flame cutters, drill presses, TIG, TIG / MIG, and arc welding equipment.
• Grind and finish completed products.
• Perform quality checks to ensure finished products conform to safety regulations and company standards.
• Prepare and complete job reports as needed.
• Maintain focus and safety while handling large metal objects.
