We are seeking an energetic and passionate Fitness Instructor to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will inspire and guide guests through tailored fitness programs and group activities, promoting safe, effective, and enjoyable exercise experiences that align with our holistic wellness philosophy.

Responsibilities

Guest Engagement & Experience : Deliver exceptional guest service in line with Zulal Wellness standards.
Conduct fitness consultations, assessments, and personalized training sessions.
Lead group classes (e.g., yoga, pilates, aqua fitness, HIIT, circuit training, meditation-based fitness, etc.) suitable for all ages and abilities.
Provide professional guidance on posture, technique, and injury prevention.
Educate guests on lifestyle, nutrition basics, and wellness integration.
Ensure guest safety and comfort during all activities.

Program Delivery

Design and implement fitness programs tailored to individual guest needs and health goals.

Collaborate with wellness practitioners (Traditional Arabic & Islamic Medicine specialists, physiotherapists, nutritionists, etc.) for holistic wellness plans.

Support the resort’s retreat programs by delivering fitness elements within scheduled itineraries.

Encourage long-term sustainable health habits for guests.

Operations & Safety

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and functionality of the gym and fitness areas.

Ensure equipment is safe, well-maintained, and properly sanitized.

Follow all health, safety, and emergency protocols.

Maintain up-to-date certifications in fitness training, CPR, and first aid.

Teamwork & Development

Collaborate with colleagues across Wellness, Spa, and Recreation teams.

Participate in training, workshops, and continuous education to uphold excellence.

Contribute ideas for new classes, wellness offerings, and guest engagement activities.

Qualifications & Skills

Certification as a Fitness Instructor / Personal Trainer (REPs, ACE, NASM, or equivalent).

Minimum 2 years of experience in a luxury wellness resort, spa, or fitness center.

Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, exercise science, and safe training techniques.

Ability to teach diverse group classes and provide one-on-one training.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.

Passion for holistic health, wellness, and lifestyle transformation.

Fluency in English required; additional languages an advantage.
