Job Summary :

We are seeking a competent and detail-focused Design and Estimation Engineer to support our engineering and construction projects in Qatar. The role involves preparing technical designs and cost estimations that align with client specifications, industry standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare precise technical drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD or other design tools.

Develop cost estimations, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and tender documents based on project requirements.

Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors to gather data for accurate pricing.

Analyze and interpret tender documents, project specifications, and client requirements.

Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and local regulations.

Optimize material selection and design approaches to ensure cost-efficiency.

Support bidding processes and client presentations with technical input.

Maintain organized records of estimates, drawings, and vendor quotations.

Skills Required :

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Civil / Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in design and estimation roles.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and any estimation software.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, material specifications, and costing practices.

Effective communication and coordination skills.

Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
