Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and store all automobile spare parts in the designated store / warehouse. Maintain accurate records of stock levels, receipts, issues, and returns. Ensure proper labelling, tagging, and safe storage of all spare parts to prevent damage or loss. Issue spare parts to workshop technicians, service staff, or as per approved requisitions. Verify incoming spare parts against purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices. Monitor stock levels regularly and prepare requests for replenishment as needed. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock availability, usage, and shortages. Assist in identifying the correct spare parts for workshop teams when required. Maintain proper housekeeping of the store to ensure parts are organised, clean, and accessible. Follow proper storage and handling procedures for oils, lubricants, batteries, and other sensitive parts. Support annual and periodic physical stock counts and reconcile variances. Coordinate with procurement, accounts, and suppliers regarding orders, returns, and replacements. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations. Education : Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred). Experience : Minimum 3–5 years of experience in spare parts storekeeping, warehouse operations, or inventory management (automobile industry preferred). Computer Skills : Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and inventory / ERP software. Technical Knowledge : Strong knowledge of automobile spare parts and accessories. Ability to identify, classify, and cross-reference spare parts. Communication Skills : Good verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, workshop staff.
